Audiovisual Equipment

A/V and Media Services maintains a collection of audio-visual and media equipment to

  1. Support the academic and instruction of the College
  2. Support the recreational needs of faculty and students

Use Policies

Can I reserve equipment?

Yes! We recommend you reserve equipment to ensure its availability when you need it. To make a reservation, call 423.652.4716 or email us at library@king.edu.

Who can check out A/V equipment?

  • Faculty, staff, and students of the College can check out equipment.
  • Students and student organizations do need a faculty member to act as a "co-signer".

How long can I checkout A/V equipment?

  • 24 hours is the default check out period.
  • Faculty/staff can extend that period with permission from a Library Staff member.
  • Overdue? Fines are $2.00 per day or partial day. There is no maximum limit on the fines!
  • Remember: When you check out A/V equipment you are financially responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Can someone help me with what I've checked out?

Library Staff can provide instruction in the use of equipment in the collection and can assist with equipment delivery/setup if provided with advanced notice.

Anything else?

  • The Library's A/V equipment is meant to be used on campus. In order to use off campus, you need the express permission of the Director of the Library.
  • Usage by persons unaffiliated with King College is not permitted.
